What gives? I was gonna post Stephen Colbert's ThreatDown clip about the phallic looking iceberg into that Winter Driving thread, and it got 'Yanked' so to speak! I'm not meaning to hi-jack your thread Colin!

What's with that Mods????

Andy
Andy, kindly back off. We're not on here 24/7 and we don't always get to every single thread.
That's why there's a "report post" button under everyone's avatar.
You also know how to Yuku a mod, so PLEASE contact us directly instead of using someone's thread.
Thanks!

I'm not complaining aboutColin's thread, nor would I hit any button to have it removed. I just never could understand the logic!

Edit: Nor would I secretively or covertly hit any buttons behind or go behind anyone's back to complain

Andy

Hey Colin, I didn't mean to make'Minced Meat' outta yer thread and I'll apologize for that. Compared to that chemical and hormone filled poison slop found on grocery shelves,it's a no-brainer as to what's superior. As far as deer go, we got'em comin' out our butts around here. They cause 100s or 1000s of caraccidents on the roads in Ontario, and particularly on high traffic roads in Southern Ontario, and probably can't be hunted enough to keep populationsdown. I've hit 2 of them in my life. One dead on at over 70 mph in mid air after it leaped outta nowhere, and one just a few years ago on a snowy road thatI didn't see after being passed by another car. He could have warned me but didn't and I nailed it in the head with the left front corner of my car, which caused damage including shaving off my side rear view mirror. I turned around to scoop up some free meat, but it ran off into the bush. So they can'tbe hunted enough to keep their numbers down. I've got nothing against hunting. Please accept my apology!

Andy

I live in WV, Deer jumping in front of your cars. Tramping through your yards. You have to dodge the carcasses on the highway. Then you are left contemplatingif you really would tie one to the front of your new Jeep, or if maybe you might have planned your hunt a little better.

I love venison. It's good stuff. I'm not even interested in mixing in sausage to kill the "wild" taste. The last one I took bow huntingruined me. I hunted all day and late in the evening I'm walking back to my car. Up on the bank above my car is a deer standing. Without too much detail, itwent down, rolled down the hill, right to my car.

I figured it would only be harder after that one and I haven't hunted since. Not because I have anything at all against it. I'm just too lazy to dragthe things out of the woods and butcher them. I'm always willing to take any extra meat yo uhave though.
