MLB pre-season picks anyone?

I'm thinking Boston is clear-cut favorite to win World Series for 3rd time this decade. Other contenders include:<br>Angels<br>Indians<br>Cardinals<br>Brewers<br><br>I'm also thinking that these 2007 contenders will fall back to middle of the pack:<br>Rays<br>Phillies (defending champs)<br>Marlins<br>Yankees<br>Mets

The Yankes are loaded, they have 4 solid arms they can put out on the hill. The Rays have everyone back, their youngsters having a stellar year of experienceunder their belt. They will be hungry to play October baseball and finish some undone business.<br><br>The Sox have their work cut out for them, in arguably the toughest division in MLB<br><br>And the Mets have have finally healed their Achilles heal. They went out and got not one, but two stellar closers in K-Rod and Putz. If they aren'tplaying October ball in the new ball park us US taxpayers are subsidizing for them (Citi Field - Citi Bank is putting $400 million of their TARP money to workfor the naming rights), there will be huge disappointment.<br><br>Can't wait for opening day <img src="http://www.dodgetalk.com/forums/images/smilies/banana.gif" alt="image"><br><br>~Joe
