Russ, Cute puppy ! Congratulations ! Years ago I had a Siberian Husky. Raised him from a puppy to 12yrs old. I had to put him down for health reasons. So.. years go bye because I couldn't get over his loss, yet I knew I'd own another dog. I have a sister who worked in a vets office. One day a client brought a dog in that she found on the side of the road. She wrote a blank check to the vet and told her to find it a good home. The vet already had about 4 dogs they were watching. She ran out of space to keep this new found dog. They gave this dog a full once over. My sister visited a few times bringing the dog. They estimated her to be about 3yrs old. My sister asked us to foster the dog. Of course she knew what she was doing. lol. I became attached and she's been with us for a good 3yrs now. Funny... the vet said she was part Shiba Inu. I never heard of the breed. I've been around a lot of dogs in my life. This dog has turned out to be the best dog ever ! She came with the name Posie, I have no clue why but It has remained her name. No regrets ! Does she look part Shiba Inu ?

Does she look part Shiba Inu ?
I'd say she has alot of similarites to a Shiba, here is a pic of our first one that departed a year ago.

That's a real nice picture. Funny thing about my dog, she never jumps up on the furniture or bed to lay. Never even tried the entire time I've owned her. She lays right next to where ever I'm sitting. lol. Lays on my side of the bed when she's not moving around during the night. The other thing I can't figure out is that she never tries to stick her head out the window of the vehicle ? She just sits in the seat looking forward. lol. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Jim
