Which pro team sport is the toughest to win a championship in?

Here's one I think could be fun. Which pro team sport is the toughest to win a championship in? On this board, I believe most would vote for the NFL/Super Bowl. My opinion is that it's the NHL/Stanley Cup being the toughest by far with four, 7 game series, balls to the wall, &amp; very physical. nhl ...not only do you have to play hard to win, you literally get beaten up by the other players.

Stanley Cup...plain and simple.<br>

Hockey. What other sport do you have to win four games with the possibility of playing seven, And they're every other day. Ouch.

I'm going to go with football. No disrespect to hockey at all. The reason I go with football is because it all comes down to one pressure packed game and because one particular player (the QB) is vitally important. If you don't have a really good QB, it's hard to even get to the big game. Once there, you need to have a good game with minimal mistakes. A really good coach can game plan for you on that one particular day and ruin a near perfect season. An injury to a key position can be a killer because you may not have time to adjust your game plan.<br>
In all the other sports listed, you have 7 games. You can have a bad day, get blown out, and have another crack at it the next day. You can have extremely bad luck, but will have another shot the next day. You have multiple chances to adjust your game plan if it's not working. If you are nervous or have big stage fright, you have time to settle in.<br>
It's not a slam dunk, but I like my chances in 7 games over one shot at it and done.
