Heartfelt Thanks

I need to thank you all so much for the well wishes and comments about the passing of my brother.* The comments, prayers, and vibes all meant/mean a lot to me and my family like you wouldn't know...the responses and comments were shared with mom, sister, and non collector friends and they were all touched... Also, thanks to those of you who sent flowers, plants, and cards.** I was surprised to say the least, and will always remember...The friendships that have sprung out of this hobby boggle my mind a bit.** What would I have if it weren't for it?** I know I wouldn't have the same friendships, or at least not as many.** You can never have too many friends as I learned on Saturday at my brothers "Celebration of Life" party.** He didn't want a funeral or a service, he wanted a party, or a celebration of life.** We did the best we could to grant him his final request.** It went well and lifted a little weight off of our shoulders.** His friends who got up and shared stories sure made my mom smile and be proud.** A difficult time for her, but we both talked about how Saturday lifted a heavy burden... Here's a video my wife put together for his party on Saturday.** I had to find a song to put with it, and knew it had to be Blue Oyster Cult.** First song I thought might work I gave a listen, then twice, then handed the iPod to the wife and told her that I found the right song... Good to see you back, Scott. Ya, "closure" never really is true closure. It's hard to express in words from a distance what a knowing look and hug or handshake could convey in person, but we try...
