Anybody here watch NASCAR?

I watched and I thought what Carl did was way out of line...spinning him into the guard rail just to win...He could have hurt him real bad.

Underfunded? That's the problem with NASCAR. Go back to racing real cars.

Hey, it's NASCAR, and they love it because it sells tickets... so it's pretty much encouraged.

I'll admit I like a well executed 'bump and run' but hooking a guy on a straightaway, nope, not cool.

Nascar is cool. Edwards may have stepped over the line a bit? But those 2 have a running bump theme going. Thats baby racing anyway. Watch the 48 car and see a real driver.<br><br>Mike<br>

Not a 48 fan, but I'll give you this. A couple of weeks ago in Loudon, Kurt Busch moved Johnson aside late in the race. A few laps later, Johnson came up behind him, tapped him, moved him out of the groove, went by and won. That's how it's done, not hooking a guy straight into the fence.

Not a huge NASCAR fan but do and have done a ton with racing and seeing that wreck on sportscenter wanted to make me puke. I am stunned NASCAR is doing nothing. With Mark Nivar dying the previous week (a guy we used to race against) any time I see a wreck in racing I lose interest a little more. Racing is a tough living. I realize sometimes people do not see these drivers as athletes but they certainly are putting it all on the line every time they climb in a car. A ballplayer might blowout a knee or arm, which is terrible and sad to see, but these racers too often lose their lives.

Otherwise, he'd have finished further back. You could put Elliot Sadler in the 48 and it would still win.
