Thanks...they're all polished...haven't found one yet that required replating.

What are you going to do to the Dune Daddy and VW? Two of my fav castings.
Greg
They are really pretty do you sell them?

Actually the orange is a US crab minus the canopy etc., I'm redoing it so it will be a better match for the green HK.
The VW was copper (think I bought it from a member here onTTP) I'm repainting it yellow, my plan is to have a sweet 16 composed of rare restos......so far have a pink US bandit, blue US deora, pink US heap, probably every rare version of the mustang etc.

Thanks for the compliment, I don't sell them, it takes so long to complete one I'd never make money.....used to enjoy building models as a kid but this is much more fun, also keeps me out of trouble!!

Very Nice work. :thumbup1::thumbup1::thumbup1:

Beautiful work!! :001_cool:
I agree with you, Jeff. Customizing is way too much work to sell 'em. After you put that much time and energy into them, they become your children! Let's see that VW when it's finished. Not many customizers paint yellow spectraflame.

It's true, I don't think I could ever let one go...as for yellow.....the cast has to be perfect as does the paint, I have several failures that are now optional colors, yellow just never seems to turn out like you hope.
Mark (playzwithcarz) did a killer open fire in yellow, that's what i'm after, sure wish I was around to see rooster's or some of the other greats when they displayed their work here.
