So, I discovered Warren Haynes today.
I picked up the Dave Mathews Cental Park Concert dvd over the summer time at a garage sale for $1. I never watched it until today. I get on my DMB kicks, love his stuff for a while until i hear too much, then lay off for six or seven months, then do it again.
Anyway I put in disk 2, and then song #2 comes on. Cortez, The Killer. OMFG, absolutely awesome. Ive watched this one song about a dozen times today, and am doing so right now. Its been so long since ive even heard Neil Youngs original.....WOW......time to play it again.
Gonna have to find my some line Gov't Mule stuff this week, what albumb do i need to buy? D the do a live version of this one on any albums?

Neil has got to be one of the best in our life time time!! He was at Woodstock, and slug it out with Skinnerd back in the the day!! A true American rocker!!

Except he's from Canada, but I agree he's still one of the best all time.

I think if anybody ever remakes Pocahontis it should be Dave Mathews.
