my rookie attempt at removing kid paint
well i made a big mistake at trying to remove kid paint from a spectraflame car and well i think i messed up big time :(

i put too much solvent on a q-tip and it got on my fingers as i was holding the car and have messed up the windows :( im going to keep going to remove the rest of the paint and have it as a reminder not to rush into this stuff

LOL yea i been down a similar road. Its not the end of life. its a good learning lesson.

Looks like a good restoration candidate now. Might be able to progressively sand/buff the window back to specs but you'll have to take it out first.

Here's an idea for next time: "Paint" the windows with Elmer's glue. They'll be protected, and the glue will peel off later.
You've just had the same experience as almost everybody who's attempted your task. Don't feel bad.

I did the same thing to a 1978 Hot Bird. Only my windows shrunk and melted.

yeah i guess we all get a bit overzealous when we start out lol oh if you all haven't seen it i another post here is how she looks now
