Hey Jeff if the glass is beyond reapir I usually just replace it, but if it only has scuffs or scratches I take an exacto knive and scrape it down untill the scratches are gone. Then I take a salon board with the super fine grit and sand it down smooth again then I take some blue magic metal polish and polish it smooth repeating the steps rinseing afterwards until I am happy with it then I rub windex into it until I get the shine I'm after. Alot of these steps I got at the RLS from Mark aka Plays with Cars off of his great tips section on the same site.
