Hello BOB, just a note, if you want to make an OC HC then it must be only candy red (I have an original one) . it was never made in any other color ;)

I encourage you to do whatever color you want, because it is a recreation regardless, and anything to prevent confusion with genuine originals is a good thing. ~P

Yep I was thinking the same thing I Don't want to recreate an original (imposter) and also would like the base reattacthed with screws I think blue would look Sweet. I found someone to make one. Thanks guys ;)

It really won't matter if you copied the original color or not.
Won't the screws in the bottom clearly point out it has been restored.
