Re: Anyone remember these?
I don't remember those particular ones, but certainly built a hundred or so other Tamiya models. In another life.
Re: Anyone remember these?
Man, that was a big deal Christmas present when I was 10 or so! I got some kind of sand rail, built it, wrecked the hell out of it several times, and within months had gone through a few chassis, tires, bodies and batteries (melted one of them!). Congrats on the buys; enjoy...
Re: Anyone remember these?
Tamiya made killer stuff, I have quite a few military models built and unbuilt in my collection, with a preference to German WW2 armor!

The interest in "scale" R/C is coming back. I remember the Beetles... always wanted one. Pull 'em out and have some fun.
Jeff!

A R/C Tiger tank would be pretty sweet! I wanna get a R/C WW2 plane at some point. Maybe when my son gets older. Maybe a P-51 or Messerschmitt.
Re: Anyone remember these?
Oh yeah, I had a lot of those from when I was 13-18. The Frog,Hornet,Super Champ, Willy's Jeep,Grasshopper, Hot Shot, Super Shot and the best was the Team Associates RC10. I did a lot of racing. I would buy, build and race a car for a few months and then sell them to buy something different. When the RC10 came out it shut down most everything else. Fun memories.
