Cleveland Autorama
I was able to take in the Cleveland Autorama this weekend with Darlene (smallshot) and had a really great time and got to see some really cool cars. Usually the weather is bitter cold this time of year in Cleveland, but with our unusual warm weather right now, a T-shirt and no coat worked just fine! I have been attending this show since I was a kid and have seen the many changes that it has gone through, but one thing that has not changed, is that it is still an event where you can see some real nice customs, stocks, and cool Rods. ENJOY!

One of the most fascinating vehicles there. The GM Futurliner. What a way cool vehicle! #10 of 12 made! I got to sit in the cockpit of this ride, and you are definitely king of the road!

Re: Cleveland Autorama
Thanks for replies everyone. It was a pretty good show!! That Futurliner is way too cool!! I really enjoyed it and it was a great group of folks who had her on display and answered the many questions. The history around these vehicles is very interesting. The display was awesome with a miniature version in the display area. I got to sit in the cockpit and it was very reminiscent of a vintage aircraft the way it was laid out. It had one seat for the driver, and three seats behind that. You sat up high and the view was nothing short of amazing!!
I am sure if Bruce had one of these it would be the rear load version with two surf boards hangin out the back!! lol!!
And John, Butch Patrick was not with the Drag-u-la when I was there.:(
