A drag racing icon for sure and will be missed.
A legend! R.I.P.
Truly a sad day for all who love Motorsports !
Grumpys Vega used to be my avatar when I had a laptop, pre TCE days. Talked to him two or three times when the NHRA had an exhibition class called Pro Stock Trucks. He was gracious and polite. Legends become fewer and fewer. He was such an icon and innovator. He was the one to usher in the tube frame car which is the standard in Pro Stock cars today. Mike, a FAN
One of the Greatest in motorsports history. Met him in Bristol one year at the Spring Nationals @ Thunder Valley. Seemed like he took time for everyone that asked.
0.00 flats from now on Bill... The tree's always green... Keep smilin' on the Big End.
Jeff!
Very sad news. Saw him race when I was a kid...
