Anyone Remember CARtoon Comics...?

I used to read these all the time when I was a kid when reds first came out. Lot's of times I'd come home from the store with some new reds and a CARtoons comic book! It was bliss! :D

Great heads up and link. This was the only comic i would buy. And Mad was the only other one i would read, thanks to my brother buying them. He still has his, mine got water damsged. I'm pretty sure i had them all. At the same era was the weird-ohs card sets. Thanks for the memory. Mike

I love those. Did you ever see the Muscle Machines toys that were based on the Cartoons mag? I saw some on ebay this week. They are awesome!!! Too bad I only collect hotwheels

Remember it well. It was hard to find where I grew up, but when you found it... WOW!

I must try to get a few for a memory refresher. I do remember getting the new issue when they came out monthly I think it was,...along with the current issue of Hot Rod if there was something in that of interest.

And now that I remember,...there were these cards (like hockey or baseball) that had all the current NHRA stars and cars on them. The early funnies, front engine rails, wheelstanders,...etc... Anyone remember those...?

I think my brother purloined mine...:D

I still have a huge stack of those at my parents ! CARtoons and Hot Rod Cartoons .... Remember Pappy Lemon ?

I never was into comics but I loved CARtoons! Wasn't there also Dragtoons? Seems like I had some of those too.

I don't remember that name Mark,...but I do remember there were comics by other names though, dragtoons may even had been one of them. CARtoons was the one I went for...
