I have a King Kuda club car that is minty aside from worn roof stripes. I'd like to remove them altogether, but am afraid of damaging the "chrome" paint. What would be the best thing to use? Also, would you apply repro stripes, or leave it bare?

It ain't chrome paint, the stripes are on a piece of tape, just peel it off and wash away the glue residue, easy.
Hey Dave. Franklin, eh? I'm just north of Fort Wayne. Good to have another Indiana guy on here.
I would honestly keep the stripes on there. I have had lots of club cars that look really minty except for nicks and fades on the stripes. Display your car from the side and you'll never have to worry about those non-minty stripes! :)
Leave the original stripes on. Forget the repro's.
Just my opinion!
If you really want to take them off.. Take of the stripes ..Then use warm water or wd-40 on a peice of cloth to take the rezidue off.
I figure unsightly stripes look like crap,....so get rid of them. If you want a car with nice perfect stripes,...just buy one!
Repro stripes....? Nah!
Spoilers look nice without stripes too....
Ask yourself,...do you REALLY wanna look at a nice car with crap stripes...? Makes the whole car look like crap.... :D
