My new Cat
Bought a new cougar it's a 1970 xr7 with a 351 clevand 2v. Also has the rare houndstooth top. Top on the car is original along with the 63,000 miles. She was originally medium Ivy green but was changed to black about 8 years ago. This car has issues with the brakes to for some reason... maybe I'm just unlucky with those infernal contraptions. This time they are way to sensitive instead of not working at all on the previous one. Mr. fix it down the road told us the booster had gone bad just like the other one and wanted 600 bucks to replace it. :P
Btw anyone want to buy a 1967 cougar jamaican yellow xr7 that was just repainted this week?

Re: My new Cat
Nice Coug, but a 351 Cleveland ,w/2 barrel?
Thought all XR7s would come with 4 barrel carb.

Re: My new Cat
Thanks for all the replies. Some f the xr-7's did come with 2 barrel in fact a large number I believe... Would have been happier with a 4 barrel, since it takes a little umph to start up. :)

Re: My new Cat
Beautiful ride! But if it were mine, as soon as it was deemed to need a new paint job,it would go back to the original Ivy Green .... that had to be just gorgeous with the tan top & interior!
