Moving to Oklahoma
Ok so the job wants to pay me not to come to work now....what a deal. Found a house in Broken Arrow Ok...fixer upper but with character( 50 years old like me)!
My wife and I will move there by may 1st and should have the house finished in the next 10 years or so! In the mean time I leave behind my San Diego reline group and will need to hook up with the local Tulsa redline community. Give me a shout. Larry

Re: Moving to Oklahoma
Larry,
I have lived in Broken Arrow my whole life. I have yet to find any regular gatherings for redline collectors here. I know there is a Tulsa group that meets monthly. T-Town Wheelers-- google for website, they do have a newsletter I believe. If you happen to find any more please let me know. Welcome to the community. I hope your move is a very smooth one.

Re: Moving to Oklahoma
I live in Bixy, a suburb right next to Broken Arrow. Will look forward to see you about.
I know a couple others locally that are into collecting, but it seems the new stuff is what most of Tulsa collectors are after. What a joke!

Re: Moving to Oklahoma
Todd and Jeff, I am looking forward to meeting you both. I am only a redline type and try to avoid the "mainline mentality " if you know what I mean. My house will take alot of my time but I will need a diversion from time to time. I will reach out again once I am there and ready to play with my toys...Larry

Re: Moving to Oklahoma
The "gutter" happens to be 5 acres with a lake, creek, bridge over the creek, 3000 sq ft house, and a 4 car 1500 sq ft garage...for half of what my rent house is in San Diego per month....did I mention the lake has Bass, perch and Catfish....all off the deck of my house....no permit required....can't be happier.
