Does anyone have a pic of the inside of the base of a HK Carabo. I have a near mint light green one with one of rear wheels pushed up & am wanting to repair it, but don`t know what to do. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Kevin

Thanks Mark. But why would only one side be pushed up. I can pull it down & it will stay there until I set it down. The weight of the car pops it right back up again. I don`t really want to take it apart, being that it is very close to mint otherwise. Thanks for the pic. Kevin

Its only the left rear wheel. Funny you should mention stuffing something in there Mark. I was playing with it last night, trying to figure out what to do. I tipped it up & could hear something rattling around inside. It looked like a wheel. I popped off the cap on the rear wheel & got a pair of needlenose pliers & pulled it out. It is a mint cap wheel. Chrome & redlines are perfect. Bonus!!
Now to try to repair the pushed up wheel. I will get a closer look after work this evening to see which problem I have. Thanks for your help Frank & Mark. Kevin
Well, the HK Carabo is now resting comfortably back in the display cabinet after a botched operation to try to repair the left rear wheel. After trying to stuff a small piece of cloth up inside the axle area, I just couldn`t get the stiffness I wanted. So I decided to try a piece of plastic. I popped off the wheel cap & started to push the plastic in when all of a sudden the whole axle let loose & started floating around. .
So after all this, the plastic was not fitting in, the car was worse off now than before the operation & I was losing my patience so I decided to return the car to rest for another day. Maybe the next operation will go a little better!! Kevin
