Just curious....where's the NBA playoff thread?? Kind of ironic that it's suddenly gone just as fast as the Laker's.

I started the thread and asked everyone if they were a fan and who they were rooting for. 2 members said who they were rooting for(I think).
In no time, it turned into a LAKER bashing thread. Once the LAKERS were out of the playoffs, there was no need for the thread to continue.
I had the thread removed.
Feel free to start your own thread, I am sure you will get many replies...LOL
LMAO, Lakers

Well, I'm in the same boat with the Celtics....just a matter of time before they go golfing with the Lakers. Anyway, I'm sure it was all in fun as I had to put up with it from LA LA fans in the finals last year. Should have kept it as it would have eventually become a bash LeBron James thread anyway.
Oh, So because your team lost out, you killed the thread?
What happened to.. Fun to watch? You betcha!..or.. I just love watching these games.
Someone wanna start a playoff thread..they know exactly the kind of thing that going to go on with it. You win,you get the glory, you lose..oh well. Life goes on..and there's always next year.

It was a dandy. And yes I still am watching every game because I am a fan of the NBA.
I am not a basher. I very well could be though, as well you know. LOL
peace out...
LOL

I like The Lakers, and they got beat down BAD!!! Still watching because its good Sports. The Celts should have won the Game Last night. But always have to piss around with that last second shot crap. And Turnovers did them in. A Couple REAL Good series going on.
Dont see what everybody is in an uproar about? After all Its the NBA, Not The NFL. NFL Is WAY Better than B Ball. BUT will we even get to see the NFL this season?? I sure hope so.
Awesome game last night...The Thunder will go as far as Westbrook, hate being obvious but he seems to be the future, PG who can score at will by driving to the hoop, they get in trouble when he settles for jumpers. He punished Conley last nite. It's a definite maturation process. Kidd used to be it, but having an answer for Dirk should the Thunder get past the Grizz is gonna be tuff!
Man I dislike the Heat...
Yep The heat can just go away. BUT they are playing good rite now, and if they are clicking, will be VERY HARD to beat. Not one person scored more than 4 Pts For the heat, other than the big 3. Thats called putting all your eggs in one basket. They better hope one of them does not get hurt. Maybe if Wade had not thrown Rondo down and screwed his elbow, it would be different???

I think Wade did that on purpose to get rid of the 'pest.' Rondo is a great point guard and Wade ended his run.
Smart move? Maybe but if he wouldn't have slammed Rondo...things would be different?
Still a good series tho'
OKC and Memphis is unreal. Another very entertaining series!
Gotta love the NBA!
Heat look great in sending the celtics packing.
WOWeeeeeee.

So true as the Heat looked great. One thing about the Celts....they went out without any cheap shots being delivered, as some other team did to their opponent.

I wouldn't necessarily agree that the actions of a couple jaggoffs was condoned by the rest of the organization, would you? That being said, you cant really rip on the "Team" for taking cheap shots can ya? I'm just saying.....

It's the fact of when those 'cheap shots' were administrated regardless of "a couple jaggoffs". It was so obvious their intent & why....just saying....

True dat, definitely a couple pouting baby's who couldn't take defeat....really quite sad.
True dat, definitely a couple pouting baby's who couldn't take defeat....really quite sad.
yup, kind of sad but it is what it is. The Laker's as a whole, have always had the utmost class as an org but that was very far from their norm. Blame it on 'todays' type of athlete or whatever, there are those all throughout the sports world today.....not that there's not a lot of great, honorable ones today as well....
Durant had one of the BEST DUNKS EVER last nite! That baby was ferocious! Lotta vets could learn something from this kid, handles himself well and shows you don't have to be tatted from head to toe and roll with gang-bangers in your free time.
Reminds me of old school McAdoo and Gervin...silent assassins
So the Heat jump out to a 1-0 lead but I think Dallas will come back strong in game 2. Man, I despise a possible ring on LeBrons finger but his team's looking pretty strong.
What a good series to watch so far.
Just get the ball to the BIG GERMAN!!! I doesn't look like LeBum is too comfortable playing 3rd banana on this team...pulling hard for the Mavs as personally its just the lesser of two evils. Wade looks like he is seizing the moment for sure and LeBum just looks passive in letting him do so. I think Kidd took one shot whole second half.

Heat almost beat the Mavs without LeBron. Imagine when he decides to play again?
If he ever does...
Who cares as long as that baby sore-loser Lebron loses AGAIN!
WOW...I beat the great Bill Simmons to the deadline...LeDecoy!
http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/6640925/time-lebrondown-part-ii
That was a great article. I read it yesterday. On point.
Word is LeBron will play ball in the next game.
This should be fun to watch...
YAY!!!
Go Mavs!
LOL
LOL!!
I guess LeDecoy went nutz in the 4th quarter...2 points. The HEAT overall has a low basketball IQ...bad shot selection, and no shot clock awareness, evident with Bosh standing 25 ft from basket with his back facing the basket for a shot clock violation not even attempting to shoot or pass. And creepy little Barea just keeps getting better and better...having said that Miami will probably win the next 2 at home...it's a revenue thing.

I fully agree...now shoot me.
Well Its Been a VERY Intersting Series so far. All 2 Pt wins, with one 3 Pt win. Now the Mavs win pulling away a touch. You see Labron Almost Walking back down the Court?? What the Hell?? The self proclaimed KING Should give his Crown to someone who deserves it. Wade is out there bustin his ass the whole time. James is a over stuffed WEEEEENER!! I hope the Mavs just blow them Out In Miami. And put an END To this crap.
GO MAVS!!!!
And here I thought King James was just looking for a missing piece or two to get his "not one, not two, not three..." rings. It turns out the whole time Dwayne Wade was looking for a decent Forward to make another Finals run.
homeless man asked LeBron for a dollar. he only gave him 75 cents because he's got no fourth quarter
I am going out on a limb here...I think the Heat win the next 2 at home.
That will not happen!
Based on history, the Mavs better wrap it up tonight or the Heat will take it in 7. I think I saw that of the few times the road team went up 3-2, half the time the road time won in 6, half the time the home team won in 7. The road team never won in 7.
I'm pulling for the Mavs.
Huge congrats to Mark Cuban and the Mavs. They deserve the trophy!
Great to see Mark finally get one.
