Dave and I don't always see eye to eye, but I must agree with him on this. Why be worried about the politics of a country other than your own? I can barelykeep up with my own, and I really would not argue with citizens of another country concerning their political landscape.

canadians and every other country in the world have a very good reason to be worried about u.s. politics. u.s. foreign policy is adversely affecting theeconomies and stability of the entire world. why should u.s. citizenship be a requirement to be concerned about the future of the planet?<br><br>in response to an earlier post, seperation of church and state is most definitely not a christian principle. that's like saying its the goal of yourfavorite football team is to NOT win the super bowl.<br><br>like daspanic said, in reality, all this arguing over who is a better choice for president is a waste of time in the first place. the president has about asmuch control over the course of this country as the queen of england has over the u.k. it does'nt matter who you vote for, the power behind the throne isset on its course and the common man no longer has strength to overthrow that power. the government learned a valuable lesson from the cultural revolution ofthe late 60's. they found out the hard way that their worst enemy is the educated, financially secure citizen, smart enough to spot injustice andeconomically stable enough to take action. the systematic destruction of the middle class and our public education system has paved the way for the governmentto do what they want, when they want, because who cares about the government tapping your phone, when you're struggling just to pay the bill? why read timemagazine when the new episode of flavor of love is going to be on in ten minutes? we have all been had, we're just too stupid to realize it.
Having the right to be worried or concerned, and arguing the politics of a country one is not a citizen of and cannot vote in is two entirely different things.I can be concerned about what is going on in France, but I won't get in an argument between French people and tell them who they should or should not votefor in their country.

You are correct, he said who NOT to vote for. Also, you are correct, anyone is entitled to an opinion about anything, but what is "a rule of law" isyou have to live here and be a citizen to vote, which is the only time opinion on politics really counts.<br><br>According to you, Mike is entitled to his opinion, but I am not.
