I feel people who live outside the US should be concerned about this election year. I think Canada and Mexico definitely need to be concerned. I have noproblem with them voicing their opinions on this matter.
If my neighbors house is on fire I'm going to warn them, call 911, grab a garden hose and try to help put the fire out. I'm going to do this even if Idon't like their lifestyle, their yard looks like crap, and their kids are brats. I'm going to do it to try and stop the flames from getting to myhouse.

The last serious 3rd party contender was Ross Perot. I voted for him. People made fun of his charts, his big ears, and his squeaky voice. Having a running matethat doses off at the podium during a debate didn't help him much either. I want both candidates to tell us their VP choices, stop being coy and tell us.He did warn us of a "giant sucking sound" which would be the loss of wealth and jobs in this country. I think we're seeing it now.

I respect John McCain. He's a combat veteran, and a P.O.W. He was nearly killed again when a aircraft carrier he was stationed on caught fire. He was inthe cockpit of a fighter plane when the fire erupted, and barely managed to escape from the fighter while bombs were exploding on deck. He deserves respect,he's earned it.

I disagree with McCain's stance on Iraq. He feels we may be in Iraq for 100 years. I know he means we will have a military base there, like we have inJapan, Germany. We have a military base in Kuwait, I don't think we need one in Iraq too. I also don't like that he is hinting about some sort ofaction in Iran. That scares me. Obama's plan is to have troops out of Iraq by 2010.

I disagree with some of his energy plan. He wants to build 45 nuclear power plants as part of his strategy. Again that scares me, it is a dangerous method tosolve our energy crisis. I think of 3 Mile Island when I think of nuclear energy. I'm also afraid they would become a target for a terrorist attack. Obamahas wind and solar power plants as part of his strategy. I do feel that some of the strategic oil reserves needs to be released to help drop the price of oil. Some will argue that we should only use that for a emergency, in a time of war. We have a war in Iraq, we have a war in Afghanistan, and we have a war onterror. Let some of the oil loose! Give us a break.

I still want to hear a more clear cut strategy from both candidates on immigration and the economy......

Hi Steve.....

I still want to hear a more clear cut strategy from both candidates on immigration and the economy......
Now THAT is funny! Dream on Brother! The only thing clear cut will be each of them pointing out the others faults, clear as the sky...
All I hear about it "change", whatever that means.

H. Ross Perot blew it for the third party momentum...remember how everyone was energized about this movement, just to have him drop out, then get back in? People were very excited about a third party with potential. It would have been interesting politics today if he would have stayed course. We could haveactually had a viable third party...bummer...

Coming soon to a television and radio near you: Campaign ads with smoke and mirrors, lies, deception, mud slinging, and more lies, deception, and mudslinging...

"Most people in this country are too stupid to pick a candidate..."

Thank you Dave, easily the most enlightened and validated response, regarding this thread, INCLUDING the original topic. I can't believe that you guysactually are debating the merits of a mass email? Did you also help the Nigerian Prince out? Buy the pills to cure your EDD or better yet, so you could lastmore than 30 seconds? Get the cure for your Male Pattern Baldness yet? Order your cheap Vicodin yet? I surely hope you didn't forget to FORWARD THIS EMAILto 10 friends right now, so your every wish will be granted! Are you really this toolish and did you really buy this?

Read what Dave said again, and learn from your past mistakes, stop talking effin' politics already. I literally feel dumber, just reading this CRAP. Icouldn't even tell you the last time I even "opened" a mass mail, let alone wasted my time actually reading it!

It's about time for a moratorium on these types of threads, you've earned it.

Dumb & Dumber,
Chris

LOL, that's great. I just asked why you would get involved, but I love the juvenile answer. Also, you know nothing about me or what I care about, so don't claim to know what view I embrace. Read what I said, I never said I had no interest in the rest of the world, I said I would not get involved in the politics of other countries that I am not a citizen of as I have no bearing on them. But hey, you can say what you want when you want, and have an opinion about anything you want, which seems to be the most important thing to you!

You got it. Don't be telling me I don't have the right to express my opinion about whatever I want to.Its called freedom of speech. I will exerciseit whenever I wish. Its not juvenile. Its the Canadian way. Tens of thousands of my countrymen have died to preserve this freedom. If you don't like itCHANGE THE CHANNEL.---mike
