That's true. I guess I just don't want to end up with a bucket full of pan fish and nothing else, as fun as catching panfish is.
Panfish aren't so bad, but remember where there are panfish there are fish that eat panfish

That may be true, however if there are panfish there would at least technically be bass because bass are classified as a part of the panfish family. As said by the guy in that Thomas Dolby song, "SCIENCE!"
