No, I personally have not, however I have seen others do it. They really don't seem like all that viscious of a fish in reality, but if you've ever seen the James Bond with the weird cat guy...

When i was a kid, after the movie jaws came out, i remember going to places seeing great white sharks that were on ice that had been caught on a hook, them were some big fishes

I have never had the pleasure of catching a shark myself, but my dad once scared everybody off the beach when he caught a bonnet head shark. They aren't all that big but they're still a shark with teeth all the same.
