I'm not dead.... yet... I had a blast yesterday at the VW show. It rained on us ALL day. I didn't want to take the bug out in the rain, but my boys reminded me that it rained the day we buried my Grandfather.... so the bug went out the door of the resto shop on a trailer with a cover on it. We kept it covered at the show for about 45 minutes, just to make the people want to see what was under the cover. Pics to come !!

actually map quested old fort vw show on friday evening, when you mentioned BLACK was rollin to the show.
Just not enough hours in the day sometimes-----so I too will wait for some pics.

Here is the thread from The Samba. Stared October 20th 2006. 38 pages long and I've had lot's of emails and messages on how I've done things, where I got parts, how I stay motivated, why did I do this or that and so on.. It has been an incredible ride so far and I look forward to many more memories.

Here are a couple.....
Simply awesome...and nice choice of tow rig! :)
Adam... I knew YOU would notice the tow rig. It belongs to my oldest son's best friend. We work together and he let's me borrow it when I need to haul anything...
Steve
Sweet Bug, Love the black with the whitewalls. Great color choice.
Very nice!
More pics...more pics...more pics!!! :)
What can I say lol
(I also noticed the Mopar box in front of the Beetle in the Garage.)
Jon's 18th birthday was today so I had to give him a ride in the Bug.... I don't think we will be able to wipe the smile off his face !!

I had the wheels balanced, and then the front end aligned friday. My son Mike is getting married today (9-18-10) and will be driving the bug from the church to the reception hall..It's gonna be cool. Here are some pics from the alignment.
What a piece of work...truly a work of art.
Master Craftsman would be an understatement for you Steve!
