I'm OK with both scenarios here. The death penalty is a necessary thing, in my opinion. But it would be nice if he was locked up with Bubba until he rotsto death, BUT, more than likely he'll be protected because of his law enforcement background. Probably solitary confinement, or an area with non violentfelons?? He killed a pregnant woman, with his child no less, so he could avoid facing his responsibilities, he should be put to death period! I will never understandthe people who say the death penalty is barbaric. As far as what Jesus would do, the penalty in his time for breaking the commandments would have been that youwere stoned to death, modern lethal injection is far less barbaric than that and is more than this guy deserves.

If given a penalty other than death, he will have tobe kept in confinement, along with the child molesters/killers and others who are scum to other prisoners. Hell, even the child molesters will try to scorebrownie points by offing a former cop (or lawyer), especially one like Bobby Cutts Jr.<br><br>Not one bit of his courtroom histrionics brought forth any emotion in me towards him other than disdain. Okay! Capit'al' ! Embarrassing spelling error! Several times over the last few years I've heard mention of this 15 or 16 year old retarded personbeing put to death by the State of Texas (Is that a Polish flag with a star on the side?). I can't recall the various sourcesKitty but it comes up occassionally when the D.P. is discussed. And no, we don't deport to countries who do such barbaric things! Our current right wing Christian government seeks to turn back the clock of human evolution to more barbaric times with their mentionof the D.P. returning to Canada, and their unwillingness to intervene in Montana. Here's what I'd do. I'd walk in the room and ask him: "Would you rather serve life in prison with Bubba and no 'protection' fromeither the inmates *or* other officers, or would you rather be killed 'humainly' by lethal injection?"<br><br>But I'd present that question in such a way as to make him second guess his answer. "If I say I want life without parole, will they then sentence meto death?"<br><br>As he stewed over this, I'd put a revolver an one bullet on the table and leave the room and lock the door behind me. So, he can either starve to death(living life in prison without parole) or lethaly inject a bullet in his own brain.<br><br>As a juror, though, I'd vote death.<br><br>Why is it (usually) the same people who demand the right to kill babies and baby the killers? I've never understood that. Never will. Don't wasteeveryone's time trying to explain it.<br><br>Joel.

For all of you who would keep him in prison for life...you must be willing for your tax dollars, $40,000+ per year, to keep this POS in clean clothes, 3balanced meals a day and a warm bed to sleep on every night. I am not willing to use my tax dollars for that. If he stays in prison, he gets to tell his BSstories day after day, proclaiming his innocence and whatever else he wants to tell. He could have visitors, play cards or dominoes, amongst otheractivities.<br><br><font size="5">What we need to do is rid the world of these kinds of people...</font><br><br>You guys getting my drift? What we should do is wipe him off the face of the earth, plain and simple because we cannot change what he has done. A lifetime ofbeing locked up will not bring back the victims or help with closure to the family. I don't care what we do to the criminal, it will never give fullclosure to the family and friends of the victims...NEVER! <br><br>And because he was a cop, he will be protected from the bada$$e$. While in prison, prisoners are property of the state and the state is responsible to makesure that nothing happens to the inmates. Very large lawsuits have been won by families of the inmate because of the state not taking care of the prisoners.<br><br>These are some of the reasons I say death to the POS. <br>
