The Mustang II is a 1975 Ghia, Cali. Car. That's what the Lady who owns it said. I thought it was a 1978 too. Just a Beautiful example of the car. It wasmy favorite of the show! How many do you see? No not going to the Lead East show. Have been there before, nice cars, but i didn't really like the show.Next really big one for me is, September 18 weekend, Wildwood Car Show, on the Boardwalk. Almost 5 miles of cars. Get ready to walk. Might do Lynnhurst, again, this weekend. Show was cut in half, this pass weekend, because of the Giants and Jets game. 3 days this Labor Day Weekend Car Show.

What a boatload of pics! I enjoyed them... thanks, Bernard!

I used to own one just like this car back in the late '70s.. a '78 Mustang II Hatchback with a V6 engine

It's good to see a Mustang II in any show. That black one is killer. You don't see them on the road anymore.

Michael: I don't think that is black on the M-II. The original color was a midnight blue. Very, very dark. I remember this combo because after I got my 75M-II, my Dad was looking at a Ghia like this one, same color combo. They truly ARE one of the rarest of Mustangs on the road. You just never see them anymore!

You're right, Bruce. I forget they are actually dark midnight blue. I remember when strolling thru the Ford showroom back then. I recall theluxurious '78 Thunderbirds were built with the exact same color combo as the Mustang II Ghias. Yes, they are very rare which was why my heart jumped a beatwhen I saw these pics here. *sigh*
