All fans of Disney live action films need to go to TCM.com , click on the "Family Classics" icon. Every Sunday in December, Turner Classic Movies ispresenting several of the better movies on the above list (interesting rankings, by the way!). They have also created a new film, sounds like a documentary ofsorts about this niche, featuring many familiar old faces and narrated by Angela Lansbury. --phil<img src="http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/glasses.gif" alt="image"><br>
That's quite a list..But I didn't see <strong>Charlie the Lonesome Cougar</strong> on there..lol.<br><br>The animated Jungle Book was the 1st movie I ever recall going to. I remember talking about it for daaaaysss..lol.<br><br>I always liked Peter Pan. The flawless animation,the voices,the characters..<br>Fantasia has some awesome sequences as well.<br>My boys like The Fox and the Hound,and Stitch..lol.<br><br>I seen Wall E recently,and I thought it was just GREAT! Rent it if you get a chance...it really is a nice little animated flick...way underated.<br><br>Live action has to be 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.<br><br>Anyone shed a tear watching Old Yeller lately?...lol.<br><br>F~<br>
Back in the day-Jungle Book<br><br>Current favs-ALL Pixar works,especially CARS. That movie just flat out rocks.<img height="40" src="http://mmb.maverick.to/images/smilies/party3.gif" width="48" alt="image">Can't wait for the second one,I hear its a few years out though.<p><br></p>
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea; it had Kirk Douglas, James Mason, Peter Lorre... a classic! Still love it. The Shaggy D.A., The World's Greatest Athelete,The Love Bug movies, Tron, Jungle Book: Sunday nights were the best for family TV. After Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, we'd watch The WonderfulWorld of Disney.<br><br>My oldest child's first movie experience was The Lion King... we had to get the video as soon as it came out, of course, and I think I can still recite 1/2the lines from memory... and she's 18 now. Ugh.<br><br>Really enjoy the Pixar era stuff, too.<br><br>From Snow White to Cars; it's kinda mind boggling to think that Disney has entertained four generations of my family.
Not really that long ago when I was a kid, but my all time favorites has got to be the Herbie series. Love it!

Showing my age but my favs as a kid were... Old Yeller, Lady and the Tramp,Perry the Squirrel,Flubber and The Shaggy Dog!<br>We used to go to a small independant theater in my hometown of Easton,MA, and for 25 cents you'd get to see 2 sometimes 3<br>movies on a Sat.afternoon!<br><br> K-dog

I loved The Scarecrow; my pal reviews DVDs and a new re-issue of the Scarecrow on DVD had just arrived in the past week.<br><br>I have a few of the Disney Treasures DVDs; I really love the old Donald Duck cartoons.<br><br>So, who has actually seen Song of the South? I finally saw it re-issued in the theaters during late 1986.
