This one is a very good read. <br><br>A book of poetry by a Navy Seal in the Can Tho Village in Vietnam for three years.<br><br>It's called "Lifetaker" by Bill Shields will make you wonder with amazement and shake your head from side to side.

Just finished McCormick's 'The Road.' Read it/buy it/read it again if your heart can take it. '06's Pulitzer Winner, if memory serves. Thevivid, sad tale of a man and his son walking to the coastline in a postapocalyptic world, where the sky is grey, all is covered in inches of ash and life - ofeverything left - is slipping to a final halt. When the cover is closed and the book isn't done, you'll worry about the well-being of the twocharacters.

I've been a John Irving fan since 'the World According to Garp'. I just finished his latest, 'Until I Find You', a long read, in histypical style, but I enjoyed it!
I'm just finishing up Michael & Jeff Shaara's Trilogy on the American Civil War. I knew little about the war before, but I have enjoyed these booksso much I have ordered Shelby Foote's box set on the war.
