Nothing leaves a hole in us like the loss of a faithful companion. Nothing can fill such a hole. Whew....... This stuff rips me up.... So sorry for you. When it's time get a puppy, or an older dog rescue and start all over again, it won't fill thehole, but it WILL keep you busy!!! HJ went through the same thing and he got a new pup!

I lost my dad too at 84 in 2004 and then my best friend of 12 yearsin 2007 to bone cancer, she is still thought of every day and missed deeply. The wounds will heal in time, we never forget our love ones.
