Make your hair look presentable, dress nice, and go to the interview... if your experience and knowledge is great, they'll forget about the hair

Any Human Resources professional will tell you that first impressions are key. If you're not willing to cut your hair to make a goodfirst impression in the first place, you're likely to not be taken seriously. You've got to prove your serious about the position from the start, not"IF they hire you". Taking that approach will pretty much guarantee that they WON'T consider you! Good luck!!

In this economy, doubling you salary is a huge win.<br><br>I'd cut my hair, land the job, and grow it back. My 2 cents is cut it off and donate it like Mark did, surely someone could use it. What a great thing to do, and if you don't get the job, at leastyou've helped out a cancer patient gain some dignity, and you can always grow it back. <br>Good luck with whatever you do, but for sure take the interview, and grab it by both horns. Hey, you grew your hair out with the plan of donating it! I'd say go do that and feel good about the donation. Use that momentum going into the interview.Or, if you don't cut it, let it slip at the interview that you're doing it this weekend when your better half is around to take pics.<br><br>As for the perks of the job, you're on your own there! I've worked at large and small corporations, and fit in better in a small. But pay and stabilityhas been better at large, so that's where I'm currently at.<br><br>Jeff
