when I visualize running in LA, it generally involves seeing someone with stolen property being chased by the police.
Oh, please... I know you're just kidding, Matt, but yes, you need to actually come here sometime!

And Fred - it's true what others have said, the area right around the hotel is not the greatest - but if you have a car it's a five minute drive to thebeach, and there's nothing like running on some of the nicest beaches in the world! Run all the way to Venice Beach (about 3 miles) for some scenery ofanother kind, if you know what I mean...

I run and like to early in the AM the last convention I ran the fire escape and did "laps" around my floor. At 6am no one is up and I had fun doingit. I had to nap later since usually would not get to bed until very late. The long hair sausage lover can vouch for this. When the convention was in GardenGrove I ran a few times outside and learned quickly which way was ok. I think the run I did when I went the "wrong" way was probably the fastest fewmiles I ever ran.

I took running shoes and attire with me twice to the convention, and never used them. Nothing to do with the neighborhoods, just flat out didn't want todo it since it was a mini vacation and always ran into people to talk with...
No Scott isn,t going to run to the liquor store. He,ll find someone who has a vechile to go get it. The bottles would weigh too much that he couldn,t carrythem all back(lol). And as to the strip joint i think those women might scare him (lol).
