Hey Jim, Sorry for the passing of your Dad, I didn't know. He is looking down on you and watching after you. I'm sure smiling at your new ride...and probably saying...ah...it probably doesn't need another 150 HP LOL.

Your car is a beast...and when you get it super snaked it will be burning rubber big time. I have a hard time controling mine...and yours will have a ton more HP. My favorite is getting on the interstate...cruises at 80...then the jets turn on and get to 130 in a flash. THen its totally scary when you know it still has a good 55MPH more to go before it bottoms out. Fun stuff...but also dangerous...well...I don't know... Maybe dangerous for getting tickets is all :) I'd like to race you sometime...just to see how far ahead you will be :) LOL

Jimmy, not sure when we will be able to line them up? I would LOVE to take mine to the track once I get it from Shelby. I put down my deposit for the Super Snake tonight! Guaranteed a CSM build number under 100. Now to decide when to drop it off.....but I have to drive it for the summer!! 90-120 days is the build time....good winter project. Look for my new beast early next spring buddy:-D

BTW, mine will be getting jacked up another 250hp....supposed 800 at the crank, and street legal...fin nuts

Thats incredible! I don't know how they get that many horses from that engine, but its crazy. You'll need a great tire to put as much of that to the pavement as possible. That will be unreal. A great winter project is right...don't want to be without her...but those months are non drivers anyway. I was debating on getting a shelby, but went with my roots. The shelby is hands down the best performer of the two, especially the 2013. I can't tell you how many thumbs up, points and smiles I get from mine, its borderline harrasement out on the road, but I'd look look like an absolute fool if I went up against you at the line. :) In town, not too terribly bad, but on the strip... I'd look like an idiot LOL

Hey Jim, might I suggest a driving school such as Bondurant or equivalent. That thing is going to be a handful and then some. Not saying anything about your skills but Just want you to stay safe buddy.

Jim, That is a killer ride.
My 7 year old son and I are planning on going to the Mid-America Shelby meet here in Tulsa in 2 weeks. He has not missed a show yet! You need to plan on coming down next year, as it is an unreal event with a road track racing event on Thursday, drag races on Fri and Sat and car show on Sunday. Usually somewhere around 400 cars show up.

Hey Jim........That Mustang is AWESOME!!.....I bought a NEW 1986 5.0 Mustang GT off the showroom floor back in '86. Back in the day those 5.0's were fast, but NOTHING compared to your Shelby GT 500...I have big RESPECT for all Muscle cars new and old......Good Luck with it and by all means Stay Safe!!!!
