man.. I just can't seem to get anything right with your cars huh HJ.. Have Sherry strip it down and re-shoot it.. It's shinny plating.. I do not sand.. I tumble my castings in a tumbler so I do not loose body lines so there was no sanding.. than I rubbing compound them with a dremmel and buffing wheel.. sorry your disapointed.. your the only one that I have not been able to make happy..

<br>do ya feel better now ? ?<br>I charged you a hole $50.00 to do all that I did for you on that casting.. from a complete wheel swapover ( rip out the old wheels and axels and put new onesin it ) I usually charge $10.00 to do that alone.. to tumbling the casting first time, to plating first time, to tumbling again to plating again, to paint, toresasembly with $3.00 re-issue rivets that I furnished no charge.. and I didn't even charge ya for the shipping back.. I stated to send it to Sherrybacause she's a Great restorer that you know and could make you happy with your casting.. that's the only reason I said what I did.. I have no problemwith that car HJ.. I too had locals look at it here at our Hotwheels meeting and had 3 offers to buy it on the spot..<br>So it just was not as bad as your claiming it was or you would have stated total disapointment in it after I followed up on the E mail to make sure you hadrecieved the car..<br><br>( your quote ) It's OK I guess.. than you should have said right then you wanted to send it back to be refinnished due to it not being up to yourstandards..<br><br>I've done hundreds of cars and have had very few rejected like you have done with my work.. I told you on the phone that I would come as close to chrome as possible with Zincplating.. It's as much as could be done on the plating side of it<br><br>In closing..<br>I don't need to claim to be good.. I hadn't been in this forum for ages and I'm glad luvdemcars posted a message on the main forum about it. The last time I hung out here, things weregetting really stale. Good to see things have changed for the better.<br><br>Anyway... I wanted to say I like the JRS-painted Sand Crab. The JRS is another of my favourite castings for some odd reason (not higher on my list than theSand Crab, though, which is #1).<br><br>I don't mean to stir anything here, but you guys mentioned Sherry. Is she around here? I may have bought from her before if she sells on eBay (or I couldbe thinking of someone else).

A quick Update.. Just so those who are following this post know.. The person who's cars are pictured in this post recieved them this last Saturdaymorning.. He is Overwhelmed with excitment upon recieving them ! ! ! ! Absolutely LOVES them ! ! <img alt="image" src="http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/happy.gif"><img alt="image" src="http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/happy.gif">and I have now recieved his second box of cars to do already.. <img alt="image" src="http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/eek.gif"> I'llpost pics of them when done within the next week..<br>He'll recieve a Red Baron nicely done with a perfectly matched white interior to go in it, along with a Mongoose ll that I will put a " Body on "restore together for. <img alt="image" src="http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/wink.gif"><br><br>alright then..<br>Rooster<br>
