Every guy I know LOVES to watch videos of 2 women together...It seems to make them happy, so what's the point of getting all upset!

i know i'm not being picked on...but it is my opinion and i don't see any hypocrisy. if you are gay...fine. just don't talk about around me cuz idon't want to hear it..it offends the hell out of me!!!...and 9 times out of 10 my kids are with me and they sure as hell don't need to hear it!! andwhat ever happened to majority rules?! California really screwed the pooch here and i'm quite certain the voters will blow the issue out of the water comeNovember.

and just for the record...watching two women together does nothing for me...strange huh. and also..a lesbian couple lives two houses down from me, they arevery nice and very respectful.

Well, in respose to that, it is true when it comes to alot of guys, but two women together doesn't do it for me either.

Exactly Jeff! I am sick and tired of being told I am closed minded if I don't agree with everyone. It seems to me the people who claim we should betolerant of everyone do not tolerate differing opinions! It is easy to tolerate people you agree with!!
-
What "lifestyle" would that be Jeff?? Improper public contact makes everyone uncomfortable, go to any mall, beach, park or movie theatre and look atthe "young adults" pawing and shoving their tongues down each other's throats and every other feeling up that takes place like there is no onearound, is it ok because they are straight??

As for your minister comment? Have you been paying attention to what's been happening in the mainstream churches? We need to quit pointing out stereotypesand take a good look at every so-called lifestyle!!

Later, Dave

Wow Dave you get out a lot and seem to be where all the young people are??? I'm starting to worry.....

pawing and shoving their tongues down each other's throats and every other feeling up that takes place like there is no one around, is it ok because they are straight??
Someone should let them know Dave is watching.....
I know my neighbours very well(they've lived next door to us for ten years) and if they invited my kids over for cookies and milk, as long as my kids told me ahead of time where theywere going, I'd be fine with it. It would be no different then them going to the other neighbour's house across the street, who they go to all thetime, to play with their daughter. If my gay neighbours had a son the same age as my son and he wanted a sleepover why would I say no? Are you implying his gayparents might molest my son? Or are you implying that the boy might try something with my son just because his parents are gay? Who's to say theheterosexual parents of the little girl across the street wouldn't molest him? They wouldn't and I'm not suggesting they would but to suggest thatbecause someone is gay that they would hurt children, Jeff, I can't believe you would think like that. One of the men is a teacher. He teaches highschoolmath. If your son had had a gay teacher in school, that you'd known about (maybe he did but you don't know it) would you have asked for him to changeclasses? By your reasoning, you're implying that gay men might molest little boys just because they're interested in men. I look after children for aliving Jeff. I'm heterosexual. Would you imply that I might molest the little boys I look after? It's the same thing.

~Karen

Closedminded and narrowminded is thinking that gay = pedophile,
or that your children are going to ask you "uncomfortable" questions.
NOTHING you can say to your children make them want to do something they're not
wired to do anyway. I am not sure who started the gay=pedophile comparison, but that is silly. As Greg said, the percentages of people prone to pedophilia are the same for gay orstraight.

I will say that liberals do preach tolerance of others and their lifstyles, which is great, BUT that also must include tolerating and respecting the views ofmore conservative people. I am tired of one sentence saying how accepting everyone and their particular way of life is important, and the very next sentencetrashing someone who disagrees. Selective tolerance does not seem correct to me.

Dan,
I'm talking about being sick with fear,
sick with hate, sick with prejudice.
The only kind of Doctor that can help that is a shrink,
and truthfully, I'm not a fan of them.
You have to admit however, that your previous post showed
you wearing your disgust of gays on your sleeve,
and you pretty much challenged anyone to tell you
why it's ok to be gay when you can cite an example of
two gay women severely beating a young boy.
Honestly, can't you see the fallacy in that??

It would be the same if I argued that being straight causes
*some* straight parents to do the horrible things we hear about on the news.
Fear and ignorance, hateful words poison the mind against others.
But get to know them, and they're just people like you and me.
The chances of you runing into a crazed violent gay person
are about 90% lower than the odds of running into a crazed violent straight person;
since only 10% of the population (maximum) is gay.

...but when it happens, you sure as shoot will hear about it on the news!
Why ... because it panders to the fears and prejudices of the majority, thus more ratings.
Dan, do you remember Susan Smith? She drowned her two little boys by pushing her car into a lake while they were strapped in the backseat. She wasn't gay.Or the woman who drowned her five kids in the bathtub. She wasn't gay. To imply that being gay causes violence to children is very ignorant. Unfortunatelythere is violence towards children from all types of people, not just gays. ~Karen

Scott Jones, how DARE you to equate gay marriage to incest and bestiality! You party at someone's home and call them your friend, yet you demean theirrelationship with a significant other? This is how you treat someone who opens their home to you? How bad do you treat people you don't like?

Yeah, you, Scott. The same guy who pissed up a storm over people coming to your house and then stabbing you in the back. You are no better than the guy whostayed at your home then betrayed you online, and took pictures of himself sticking a Peeping Bomb in his butt crack, poking fun at you.

In a later post, you say this:

Gosh, all I was doing was pointing out how some activist Judges overrode what the California people want, and that is to recognize marriage between a man and a woman...
The Judges STOLE our vote...plain and simple...STOLE it.

Oh bullcrap! Re-read what you wrote in your original post.

Dan, it is people like you who cause people like me to purposefully kiss another person of the same sex in front of you. On a personal level, I don't carefor public displays of affection beyond holding hands, hugging and the occasional quick peck kiss (no tongue!), but for you to say that someone elsedoesn't have the same rights YOU do is wrong. PERIOD.

You base everything on your belief in your god. Remember, Dan, not everyone else shares the same religious beliefs as you and it is not your place to tell MEthat I am not allowed to have sexual feelings for another person!

So... stop it, stop it, stop it, just bloody stop it with the religious crap. Every time you try to shove your religion down my throat, the more you will getthrown back in your face.

6pak69 Mike, always there with your ignorant views. It was expected, but this time you went beyond ignorance to the point of sheer stupidity. True, legal gaymarriage comes with baggage; that much I will agree with you. There's that nasty divorce issue that can come with it, but that's as far as my agreementwith you goes. Gay couples already adopt children all over this nation, as well as many others. You make it sound like we're all out to infect childrenwith our homosexuality, as though it's a disease. Many of us share the same general value systems that you do, and in many cases, I venture to say a morewholesome set of values. Certainly, I don't see homosexuals raising children to be intolerant fanatics like you, who believe that their way is the onlyway.

Rob (Deputy Rob): I agree with you! I don't want anyone's sexuality shoved in my face either. I tolerate straight people's displays of theirsexuality in public. I think it's tasteless for people to tongue wrestle in public, regardless of their sexuality.

camarocrazy2 said:

An example of Moral and Social Decay

Just when I thought you couldn't get more ignorant, you come up with fecal matter like that. If you want to play timelines with moral decay, take note ofchanges in our society that began when mothers (and some fathers) were forced into raising children on their own. Look to when women (and again, some men)started having to work two or more jobs to afford a roof over their and their children's heads, food on the table, etc.

If you want to blame anyone for lack of morality, blame your fellow men who spent enough time to get laid and produce a child, then bailed, leaving allresponsibility to women. It has nothing to do with race, either, just in case you want to use that as a cop-out. Divorce rates between heterosexuals have beenat all-time highs for many years now.

Tell me, Dan, how hard is it for you to uphold being so much holier than everyone else? How often do you speak out against other men for being around longenough to create a life, then completely abandon that life, expecting the woman to take the blame, shame and all responsibility for that life? What type ofladder do you use to get up on that high horse of yours?

Greg (99Octane). Love of my life. Thank you for your sensibility and unfailing logic and reason. You touched on a subject that is a peeve of mine - flamingqueens (and kings) who feel it necessary to be all "in your face" about things. I dislike it, but I understand why many behave in such amanner. It is because of people like Scott, who equate homosexuality with every perversion known, and Dan, who can't manage to think of anyone else'sfeelings but his own. How often do we see muscle-bound men going around wearing "muscle shirt" tank tops, flexing at every minute opportunity? Howoften do we see women wearing barely-there clothing with their butt cracks showing or displaying their breasts just short of their nipples being visible? I seethat the same way as I do the raving queens and "diesel dykes." It's a way of getting attention.

Michael. Touché, my friend! Oh noes! Jack Kevorkian is on the loose! Everybody run! He may be packing a joint!

So, say the gay neighbor asks your child to come in for some cookies and milk? Would your child go inside? With no one with him?

I'd question any neighbour who would ask my child over for milk and cookies. The only people these days who I'd even think of trustingsomething like that with would be if I lived out in the country and knew them for a long time.

I wonder if it would be ok if all of us "straight" people would be allowed to have a "straight American parade?"

There already are. St Patrick's Day parade (remember the big brouhaha over disallowing gays to participate?). Oh, and let's not forget KKK and whitesupremacist rallies and parades, which are PROTECTED by the law. I don't think they allow us queer folk in on their fun.

Karen, you have to remember how people have selective memories about certain things, such as paedophile priests, which the Catholic Church did all they couldto sweep under the rug. I have known one gay priest in my life. He was with the same partner for over 40 years and purposefully, because of knowing how peopleare distrusting of gays, would never spend time alone with children. The man died on Christmas day in a local gay bar. The truth of the story was changed forpublic consumption. The reason he was at a gay bar on Christmas Day? He was reaching out to people who spend the day alone, because their families havedisowned them and they feel they aren't worthy of love.

camarocrazy said:

Two Gay women just beat the living hell out of one of there sons so bad that the cops that went there could not even beleve what they had seen and what the gay women and done to this boy. they did things to him that I can not talk about here.

If you think I'm kidding you can check the local paper, the L.A. Times I think it was in the sunday paper and it was on the news.

Wrong, son. If you state it, it's up to YOU to provide proper citation, not be lazy and expect others to look it up. There's a saying in some circleson the internet: proper proof or it didn't happen.

If this indeed did happen, consider this: how often do you read about similar acts perpetrated by heterosexual parents/adults? I am willing to bet that,percentage-wise, it's far more likely to occur in a heterosexual household.

Dan, if you really want to learn more and understand, I will take the time to find a web site that is dedicated to helping young people deal with theirhomosexuality, where you can read story after story of young people who feel suicidal because so many people are "down on them" for being gay, aswell as numerous writings by gay teenagers who have spent time living in the streets because their OWN PARENTS threw them out of the house for being gay. Thenmaybe you can come and talk to me about morality.

You just don't need to use itfor that so stop just stop it!!

Tell me, Dan, how hard is it for you to uphold being so much holier than everyone else? How often do you speak out against other men for being around long enough to create a life, then completely abandon that life, expecting the woman to take the blame, shame and all responsibility for that life? What type of ladder do you use to get up on that high horse of yours?

uphold being so much holier than everyone else? sister I'm not at all and never said I was, i'm not saying I would foat but I am notholier that is for damn sure and I will never say I am...!!

I don't have a latter very tall never did and I'm not going to start to argue very guy does the right thing when they get a girl pregnant........didyou not see that new movie Juno??

Stuff is not going well socially or morally so why make it worse my giving the thumbs up to gay marriage???

And as for the rest of your quotes and such..........

it's not that I want to stop people from being gay, I want to stop the gay from being in them.
