Pretty brutal: Nothing like smothering a guy to death as he bleeds from a shotgun blast. It opens the door for Jack and Renee, though. All hail theever-superior second season!
Tony is a bad guy....no, he's a good guy....wait, he's a bad guy.....bad, good, bad, good.....I think the writers need to come up with other twiststhan just that one. It is wild to see that when the FBI locks down an area, one guy with a pistol can shoot his way out, kill multiple agents with his 50 roundclip no less, and escape with a bio weapon!! Even fiction should be at least loosely based on reality. :)
Here is to sweet nothings of Renee coming to my rescue...

Lottsa script flaws...why would u leave a chopper to chase someone on foot? Every agency is on hi alert, yet it will take local SWAT several minutes to getthere???

Gotta tighten it up, too many holes!

C
Do they still have any of the same writers for the show as years past? The first several seasons where just very well done, and this season is barely enough toregister as a bad B-movie. I am waiting for Dolph Lundgren to show up at this point.........
This season's storyline is much more complex and introspective (less hand-to-hand Jack combat) than usual; the producers were trying to compensate for thehorror of last season (6). I like season seven, but there is an awful lot of running about in the night and its complicated nature is requiring some prettyfar-out and unbelievable stuff.

requiring some pretty far-out and unbelievable stuff.
Like sending in 20 FBI guys when they mention there are over several hundred mercs there, and the same # of guys go in for cleanup after themissile explosions....I'm also thinking our resident bad boy Tony is indeed the head of the evil empire!

Colin

I like Tony; he's always been a good character.
Well it's back to Jack and Tony again. Any predictions for this evening???

Colin
Tony switches back to a good guy? Maybe it's discovered that the agent that he killed is a bad guy. (I forgot his name but he wasRenee's boss..) I can't see them killing Tony off yet. This show has so many twists and turns.

They are getting ready to shoot the next season. It will take place in NYC .

maribell

I think Tony will surface as the good guy when all is said and done. He's probably doing what he's doing to catch everyone involved, because theinvolvement is bigger than the viewers are led to believe. Why else would he have been so cooperative in the beginning, and revealing to Jack that there wasanother attacked planned?

This show has more twist and turns than 24 Hours of Monaco...

Maybe Larry isn't really dead? Maybe Tony knocked him out and explained to everyone that he had to be out of the picture for the time being...Larryreappears in the last show to save the day, along with Jacks daughter to save dad from death, for next seasons twists...like Peyronie's disease...
Larry . That's the guy's name. Hey Scott, you may be right. Larry is really alive. He was knocked out by Tony and givensome drug that will slow down his heartrate to almost nothing ... ANd he comes back later. And then Renee is torn between sleeping w/ Jack or Larry. PoorJack, he's been so busy these last few years, he probably forgot how to do it and probably has to call up Chloe for instructions and will probably needChloe to get him a prescription for Viagra. I mean, the man hasn't slept in years and he has been contaminated by some chemical weapon.

maribell
Just finished watching last nights episode...I take it all back on what I said about Tony!!

Still wondering what the significance is about the reporter getting a phone call, and showing a man in bed with him? Just a snippit, but where will that comeinto "play" later? The Presidents daughter slept with the reporter, maybe she will contact aids in a future episode or season? Does this mean wewill have another season of the current President? Please please no...NO...she's not convincing as the POTUS, but then again, I'm a homophobic, intolerant, male chauvinist pig!

Oh, they finally mentioned the Presidents husband, but nobody's asked about how he's doing for at least 5 weeks now!!! NOBODY CARES!!!
5 Weeks? It's only been 5 hours!

Dave
It's getting deeper...
Finally the Presidents husband appears and looks to be in damn nice shape considering 6 hours before was near death! Niiiiiiiiiiiiice!!
Lots of blackmail, coniving, back stabbing, bribery, and now jugular jabbing by a handcuffed average Ali...
The fun never stops!!
So predictions for this evening...

C
Don't blow it-I TIVOed it last night!

Just finished watching it....hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM...
Shark back in the tank? Maybe......but this storyline has been used before, shark backout of tank?
Well then. Anyone surprised with any of the finale events? I wonder how many of the open ends will carry into next season, assuming there is a next seasonwith Sutherland's headbutting incident possibly taking him out of action.
I started watching this show when it first came out. Has not changed much. That Jack Sparrow can get out of almost anything. So last night I was not workingand WOW.......I got all caught up in one night!! ..........Not to say Idon't like the show, it had me pulled in and I had to stay up and find out what is going to happen.

So that's the end of the season?..........Will Jack Die?........
No he won't die. The stem cell treatment will work. Now if Keifer goes to jail for the head butting incident, the writerscan have him in a coma and daughter KIM, can show that she's a chip off the old block and take over for Jack. Agent Walker can also help and kick somebutt until Bauer recovers (and/or gets out of jail..)

Next year, they will be in NYC. They have already started shooting. Now Keifer needs to be watched. Someone needs to remind him to head-butt ONLY whenthe camera is rolling. And of course, keep him away from alcohol.

Maribell

That Jack Sparrow can get out of almost anything.
Wrong Jack Danny Boy!!!
Once a Jack, always a Jack I suppose...

I watched and thought it was all so lackluster and predictable. It's almost like a cartoon anymore, or Charlie's Angels. I don't think I'llhave much interest in next season, maybe it's time to hang it up.
If only the writers and producers would refine some of the shooting scene's and stop making it look like Mannix or Beverly Hills Cop...
I dunno...been a huge fan all these years, and now find it very stale and borderline waste of time...
Is it just me or is anyone else seeing it?
While not entirely disappointed in the '24' finale, it left much to be desired. The airport gunfight, stockyard gunfight, Tony's forklift attack(see, we needed more of that exact thing) and (best of them all) jack's bonkers scalpel attack (I could have watched that at least three more times) weregenuine highlights, but did little to remedy an achingly-long discovery/apology by the president's (ugly - there, somebody had to say it) daughter andAchmed's deathbed visit. Jack will likely be furious upon a speedy ride to consciousness, but will suddenly be stricken after learning he has agranddaughter (perish the thought) and a new reason to live. I would have enjoyed the FBI agent at least flipping over a table upon entering wilson'sdetaining cell since we were to get absolutely nothing else.
Wow Ummm........too much Jack for me! LOL........I was way off on the Jacks there!!
