Re: What's your beer of choice?
Yes Ryan! Russian River is hard to beat. Pliny The Elder......so good.
Firestone Brewing makes some darn good stuff. Most beers from Deschutes in Bend, OR. Ninkasi in Eugene, OR. Georgetown Brewing here in Seattle.
There's a good rib place two beaches down from here that usually has Pliny the Younger aplenty...but, not quite as rewarding as the Elder. My girlfriend and I were in Portland over Thanksgiving and I spent plenty of time with my feet stretched to the fire drinking Deschutes' awesome Bachelor Bitter. Can't find the stuff in these parts...

Re: What's your beer of choice?
Firestone Union Jack is da bomb!!!
I like Stone Brewing Co's stuff too, Arrogant Bastard is a nice change up once in a while!

Re: What's your beer of choice?
last time I drank Pabts...I had the grizzlins for a week and I'm not lying. When I see that stuff...I turn away for sure... Only certain type of man can handle that stuff...me not being one of them.
I got a Blueberry Lager beer a few weeks ago...it was good. Its called Wild Blue A little sweet, but a good change of pace sometimes. Its 8%...so doesn't take much to get the ol'e keyster to start acting up. Its made by Blue Dog out of NY

Nice! The Bachelor is on my list of favorites. A bunch of us go to Bend every year at Thanksgiving and a trip to the Deschutes Brewery or Brew Pub is always in order. If you find yourself heading up to Oregon again, let me know.

Interested in the scotch ale; it sounds good. You're right, too - those labels are cool!

Re: What's your beer of choice?
I usually drink Coors Light or Yuengling Lager. I even have a dog named Coors.

Re: What's your beer of choice?
I love IPAs primarily. Ruination from Stone Brewing, Torpedo from Sierra Nevada, and my current favorite . . . Ranger from New Belgium!

And I really loved Sam Adams Imperial Pilsner when it was available.
Unfortunately, many of the above-mentioned beers are unavailable here in Kansas. No Dogfish Head or Stone or Russian River. Argg . . . when will that change?

Re: What's your beer of choice?
Bob! Good to see you here. I've seen, but not yet tried, the Ranger IPA. Too many New Belgium brews disappoint me. I may have to give this a shot since I like the other ones you mentioned.

Re: What's your beer of choice?
Bob I feel your pain, ranger and FatTire are two of my favorites and we cantget anything new belgium here. Agree with you on torpedo though its my favorite non dark beer

Bard, if you ever have reason to go to Louisville, jump across the border to Indiana - you can get Fat Tire there.

Re: What's your beer of choice?
I'm with ya there Steve on the New Belgium products. I love their brewery (in Ft. Collins, CO) and I love their employee benefit package and ethics, but I just never cared much for ANY of their brews UNTIL . . . . RANGER! It's a GREAT daily drinker! Try it and be happy.

As I don't drink alcohol, I guess my favorite would be root beer.

Re: What's your beer of choice?
If it's served cold and offered free .... anything!
Seldom drink any more, but plain-jane when I do. Just give me an ice-cold Bud-Light longneck and I'm happy.
