I was just listening to CBC radio where they were talking about Christian beliefs in Europe through the middle and later2nd millenia, (up to the 1800s). They were saying the belief was that post partem women weren't allowed to step onto unripened or unharvested wheat fieldsbecause if they were to within the first month after giving birth, post partem discharge from their naughty-bits (KittyQuote) ( Hey, we have SpellChic andKittyQuote, where's Bill Gates when you want to sell him the rights to some leading edge sofware) would drip onto the field and ruin the entire crop.Maybe this is what's goin' on with the wheat crop in the US.
