If all of rock were Mt.Everest, then Zep is the flag on top! I'd go see themin an instant! And as far as them reuniting, the only way I'd only ever accept that is if the original band was intact, but beingBonham's not here, the boy is the same blood. He's John Bonham's afterlife right before the eyes! Fully Zep in my book!!!
I agree with alot of people here. Bands like the Beatles and Led Zeppelin can never be duplicated, just cheesy imitations. One reporter made a remark aboutthe backstage entertainment. Not the booze, groupies and drugs of yesteryear. Instead, health food and English tea.
Dave.

I've seen some clips and heard some in person reviews from people I trust in the industry and the consensus is that they ROCKED! I agree from what I haveheard bootleg recording-wise. I was really worried that they would embarass themselves again, but apparently they didn't. It's also obvious that JasonBonham did his homework. Kudos! I'll buy the dvd for sure and I'll see them if they tour. I was supposed to see 'em at the Cap Center in DC 1980but we all know what happened....RIP Bonzo.

In case any of you are interested, I happened to find an audience recording of the 02 arena show available for free on the internet.

http://nargothebortsdeviantsubculture.blogspot.com/

just scroll down a few shows and there are downloads available. They are compressed in RAR format, but with a free RAR unzipping program they come out aspretty decent sounding mp3's.
Keith

I could play every Zep song, including the solos...

But comes a time when you have to move on. Music should evolve. Imagine having an NFL revival game, and expecting 60 year-old stars to perform like they were in their 20's!

Sorry, but it all leaves me flat. I think it's sad that apparently music has become so banal that we have to endure all these revival tours. I got rid of all my Zep, including vinyl, 8 track, cassette and CD.

So I say get over it... that time has passed and is gone... move on to something new...

Still a Zep fan nonetheless and always will be,
Greg

No way man. Music is not like bread. It doesnt get old or outdated.People love Beethoven, Tommy Dorsey, Elvis, Zeppelin...music from every age.The musiciansget old and may appear to be irrelevant. For example Daltry and Townsend blasting out "My Generation" in their sixties. However the music lives on.Solomon said "There is nothing new under the sun" Everything new in Rock music seems to be a rehash of the great music from the sixties.
