You should really seek out a totally free speech site and see for yourself. Trust me, they are nasty, and I don't meanthat in the porn sense. Ruthless hatred, primitive, uneducated, are just a few of the adjectives.......

I also respect your insightvery much & you are very correct that those political sites are very nasty.....been to a couple of those sites & can hold my own but it is ruthless forsure. Those people actually intend to inflict harm in their comments as I try to take the high road. Yup... in psychology they call it "individuated behavior" - it's absolutely stunning the things people will do, or say, when they feel isolatedand feel pretty safe that there will be no immediate personal repercussion. Same reason for things like "road rage".<br><br>And while, on the one hand, it makes me kinda' sad that this type of rule must be made because of the minority of folks who can't seem to have adiscussion about any sensitive issue without getting personal, on the other hand, I really abhor all the nastiness, and also really appreciate this Forum andthe folks who inhabit it. So all in all I'm really glad the rule is in place, and also appreciate the volunteer moderator's good will, which I too havetested from time to time.

What gets me is that Americans think that since we refer to this country as a "FREE" country most dont understand that everyones right stop as soonas they infringe on someone elses. As for free speech that is limited too. We all have rules in this country and if we dont follow them we get in trouble andthe same goes here. I havent had alot of problems here but a few years ago I did with someone worse than anything I have seen from Dave and Scott ( are we surethey are 2 different people? LOL). I also say thanks to the moderators for their hard work and I try real hard myself not to discuss Politics or Religion asarent they the reason for most wars?
