I'd imagine though you'd still have to spend the $20 for a handfull ofpopcorn, the profits of that which by the way, would go to the theatre operator and not MM.

I watched his interviews on 3 or 4talk shows in the last week, and he doesn't totally dump on capitalsm, he just points out the evils and unfairness of it. Folks shouldn't parrot thereviews from 3rd parties.

I don't go for the notion that'all men are created equal'. All men after birth may have somewhat of an 'equal opportunity' to get ahead, but let's face it, on thespectrum of intelligence in the animal kingdom, some folks only have the intellectual level of a toilet cleaner, burger flipper or donut server, or amouthpiece like Rush, but that doesn't mean those folks have to work like dogs and get no-where. Bank CEOs need to make say, a few billion less per year, and the burger flippers need to make more. It's the distribution of wealth is what MM's getting at. People should pay attention to what he says and notdump on it, and stop listening to Michael Savage and Rush Limbaugh hate radio.

There was talk of out rightly banningbroadcasts of Michael Savage into Canada because under our laws it borderline constitutes hate crimes and serves no good for the greater benefit of society. But in all reality and practicality, that would be pretty tough to do. I say it's better to hear them out and keep a close eye on them and enjoy watchingthem make fools of themselves getting all whipped up in a frenzy like they do.

puts out movie after movie and gets the extreme minority all stirred up wanting his head,
Extreme minority? Minority? Where's the facts to show that people who dispute Moore is a minority? Probably more like the silent majority,as seen in town hall meetings across the country...

As for Michael Savage being talked about being banned in Canada, that should scare the hide off of the residents there. That is more government control and aninfringement of free speech. When Savage isn't talking about himself(way too much of that crap), he brings up many valid points that get overlooked by themidstream media. Banning Limpballs and Savage, or talk radio for that matter is censorship, and won't get taken to well if it happens in America. Thenthe powers that be would need to censor CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, and NBC, all left broadcasts who have zero balance and attack the right. I hear Fox isopposite, but don't watch enough of it to be certain. I know they have this "fair and balanced" motto, but hear otherwise. Does the main streammedia report of ACORN? Or the deceit of what is really in the "National Healthcare Bill"? Noooooooooooooo...
I start liking guys like Clark Howard who talk sense and cents and explain things as they are...
Bottom line is the left thinkers will always think left, and the righties will always think right. Kind of like the Hatfields and the McCoys. Whateverhappened to the Hatfields and McCoys anyways?? When elected King I will pay some census workers to investigate...

I for one, am Very happy I don't live in Canada. As for Moore, he is simply a liar.

Really, there's virtually nocensorship in Canada other than stuff like inciting racial hatred and the like. Stuff like yelling 'FIRE' in a crowded theatre sorta thing too, andmatters regarding child sexual abuse such as kiddy porn. Those types of things will land a person in a lotta trouble and rightly so.

There is one law on the booksthough that does qualify as blatant censorship, and that's laws governing the sale and distribution of pro marijuana literature or publications such asHigh Times magazine and Freak Brothers comics. It's illegal to sell either of those. That law is kept in place by the police's refusal to charge anyonefor selling that type of thing, because once charged, and if the offender chooses to challenge it in court, the law would be overturned and removed from thecriminal code for the reason of.....ta-da....unnecessary censorship. So the law stays in place and in fact discourages the vast majority of stores from sellingthem. There is one guy though, by the name of Mark Emery, who got a permit to set up a pro-pot and anti-censorship rally on public property in London Ontario anumber of years ago, and then promptly set up shop on the 'FRONT LAWN' of the London Police Department where he handed these 2 publications out forfree in an attempt to have the P.D. charge him so he could have that law struck down. Needless to say, the London Police refused to charge him knowing this lawwould be overturned. Maybe some of you have heard that name before. He was on the FBI's most wanted list for selling 'millions' of high grade potseeds across the border to Americans. The DEA actually was allowed to cross into Canada in an attempt to arrest him, all the while Canada Revenue (federal taxdept) knowingly accepted over 1/2 million $$$ of federal tax from such sales and was complicit with American authorities in his arrest. He was the only guyever in Canada to claim on his tax forms that his occupation was selling marijuana seeds, which is illegal.

Incidentally, other than all the pics of nice buds in High Times, it is reduced to a tasteless and disgusting magazine rife with ads for phone sex and sextoys. Disgusting!!!

And the beat......goes on.

Scott got it right, it is actually the silent majority that finally wakes up and has something to say about his ludicrous movies. It is the extreme minoritywho are fans of him and his agenda in the first place. I don't want his head. That would take effort on my part and would imply that I actually care. The man is a liar, therefore I don't waste my time watching his work. Simple as that.

Rush?? Not a fan of that guy either, but as usual not what this thread is about anyway.
