Tim,
I believe that Steve is referring to the 1994-1996 Impala SS, They were all 4 doors...........At least they were RWD. The new ones are FWD & 4 doors. That is just not right on any level............
They even have a Trailblazer SS (that's right a damn SUV)
And I won't even get into the Cobalt SS
No..... I mean the 2000-2005 Impalas. I have 2 05 Supercharged SS Impalas . I like the 4drs. I even owned a 1984 2 dr Celebrity Eurosport back in the late80's. But it was a pain loading kids in the back of a 2dr. So I drove that one and bought a 4 dr for our 2nd car. Putting SS badging on a 4dr is sacrilege, but I like the styling of the W bodies. I really liked my 4dr 1995 Cutlass S also. The Monte Carlo is the same basic unibody ..... only in a 2 dr. But I stillfavor the practicality of my 4 dr Impala SS's. Just my 2 cents..

Steve
funny- I thought that car looked like an older Taurus with nice brakes.
