Just two ......

1.) 1963 Impala SS hardtop - Blue on blue, 300 HP 327 w/M21 4 speed. All factory and all original. Fun car to drive ..... and got 21 MPG on the highway (3.08rear). Had to sell it when we were expecting our first many, many years ago. Priorities change!

2.) 1975 Nova SS - Red w/white accents, black bucket seat interior, 350, automatic, all original. My second car, and was used as an everyday driver. I was 17when I bought it. It was only 2 years old then. Probably would have kept that car forever, but was living in OH then, and those metal-munching termites (rust)literally took that car from me. I want to buy another someday. Not a high demand or high performance car, but I loved it, and had a bunch of great memories init!

Great Topic!
since monster trucks have come up this was my 1984 gmc jimmy. 12" inch suspension lift, 3" body lift 44" monster mudders. i think out of all thevehicles i've owned this one generated the most revenue for the township(ie;tickets). but if this one could talk, at least the back, oh the stories itcould tell

Hope this fits in here. In addition to my earlier post (above), I wanted to mention one that I should have bought, and then kept.

Back when I was looking for a '63 Impala SS (before I bought my blue), I considered many others. I even looked at some '62's and '64's, butthe '63 was my favorite. This was back in the late 70's, up in NW Ohio.

Anyway, I had gone to look at a 64 Imapla SS convertible that was advertised in a local paper. I wasn't going to even look at it, as it was sitting in abarn and hadn't run in many years. I wanted a running car. But, since it was a convertible, I just had to check it out. It was 100% complete and stock, butneeded a total restoration. The car had the 'chrome-laden' 340 HP 409, automatic (Powerglide), PS, PB, AM/FM, PW, factory tach, fender skirts .....just about every factory option except A/C. The motor was locked down. Still, I could have bought that car for $1,100.00 then. ARRGH!!! That would be asuper-valuable car today! I could sell a locked-down 409 motor by itself for at least twice that today! Oh, well .....
Back in the 80's, my dad had a 71 olds vista cruiser 455 2bbl with tow package and 3 spd auto. it went about 20mph more than the speedometer (140 mph) hisparents sold it to buy a 77 vista cruiser with 350 4bbl (iroc z-28 eater)
Bought this one for 300 bucks(my dad talked the lady down from 500). Had a slant 6/auto that ran like crap. Did a full resto on it my junior year(i thinkanyway, that was like 4 years ago)! Sold it after I graduated high school to pay for the first year of college. Don't really miss it all that much cause itwas my second car(68 GMC short step was my first and will never be outside the family). Had a built 360/727. Car was wicked fast for cruising the streets inWilliston. Had a lot of ricers try to race but turned most down on account of not wanting to get arrested.
