Hey John,
Yes the Gran Torino A/C does blow cold air, but since it goes into storage for the long Ohio winters for 6 months, I usually have to recharge it every other season. This is work in progress, a 400 w/factory HO option that had the drivetrain rebuilt in 2006. Engine got a Ram Air II cam upgrade and a few subtle other goodies, the M21 4-speed trans and 3.90 rear were kept basically stock. Looking forward to finishing this, before best it did was 13.7 in 1/4. Can't wait to see it what it will do now.

There have been many beautiful cars shown here. I have been an AMC fan for 40+ years and have three old ramblers. I have restored them all myself other than Body and paint and I drive them often. If anyone is interested the Big bad Green Javelin is up for sale.

She weighs in just under 30K. The horse power is under 100. The air conditioning is “ICE” cold……and it crushes houses and moves just about anything I want to move. I still laugh till this day that people actually pay me to do what I love to do. It’s like playing a video game with the controls.[/SIZE][/FONT]

Here is my '78 L-82/4 speed Corvette. I bought this car in 1989 and have done alot of work since then. I just had the A/C totally gone through, and I need A/C in FL LOL!!
Car has 63K Original miles and runs Great.
Also, 1993 40th Anniversary LT1 Coupe. Bought this one New and shows 16K original miles.
All original right down to the tires.....

#2 = This is mine, 1956 3/4 long bed, all original with a stock 265 V8 Its not pretty, but a work in progress.
Last time I ran it 2008 it purred. Haven't found the time or money to go any further with it, I really need to start it and run the motor before it locks up!

WOW, very nice show guys! Sweet cars you all should be proud to own! About all I can show is my bicept muscle. :( I've been in the market, but nothing has jumped out at me yet. There have been some nice cars..and about bit more than once, but it seems people are holding onto their special ones still. Still debating new...I'm gonna hold out until the 2013 models come out...and it may be before then I pick up something vintage along the way. The new challengers are projected around 600HP in 2013 with a supercharger...and possibly may try to keep up with the 2013 cobra which will be stock of around 650 HP...so we'll see what happens there. Great show, keep them coming!
