[QUOTE=Johnnyredline;472334]Wow... I guess Moose in the backyard isn't so bad...ex wife just sent me a text and some bears made it into her back yard and knocked a wall off her chicken coop and ate all her chickens but one.

Johnny,I would rather have the bear in my backyard then a moose. The bears don't really scare me they just come in once in a while to eat the rasberries and strawberries,I got no chickens for them to eat...LOL
We also get the odd cougar in the yard(not that kind John...LOL)they always see you before you see them, got to be really carefull around them.

Re: Attention Mark Meredith

Re: Attention Mark Meredith
I agree about the looking than tasting especially when it comes to opossums ;) I would love to see that wildlife, last time I went to my cousins house, I saw frogs, bats and an owl! He does get bobcats coming through trying to eat his dogs, and many rattlesnakes

Hey Rick,
I stay away from those types of Cougars LOL!
I guess the ex wife is very traumatized about the bears.
In the last month one of her border collies died...than last week her favorite horse collucked and died and now the bear attack on the chickens.
Looks like I will be taking care of the surviving chick for about two weeks.
Fish and game said if the bears don't come back in that time frame they probably won't come back any time soon.
I agree with you I would rather look at animals than shoot them...in fact I went hunting once and shot at a quail and it ended up being a sprinkler head. :001_unsure:
