I used a metal roller for the 1/4 panel pieces. I have some pics I need to upload, but my regular computer gothacked and I can't use it.... It looks good in picture, but you don't see all the work that goes into making it fit perfectly. Lot's of bending andtapping with a hammer. The 1/4 pieces were welded at the bottom first, then slowly force the metal (with a pry bar) and tack weld it a little at a time. I amcurrently cutting the rear fender fronts out and replacing them with new metal. We have shaping anvils to help with the shaping. I hope I can post the pics orat least a link..<br><br>Steve<br><br>Kitty you have a pm........... </p>

My mom has a 1950 Willys Jeepster that she drove in high school and her dad actually painted it light pink. My parents will drive it during the summer and itsin really nice shape. Her sister also the same car but in red. I was always super embarrassed when my mom drove me to school in a pink car, haha.

After all of the in-progress pictures of cars you are reworking, I still can't look at them without being completely amazed at the work you do, Steve. Italmost always makes me take pause and look at the details.<br><br>I hope I answered your PM. I'll look back to double check.

<p>I have been busy with the Jeepster the last week. Here are the progress pics. I got done with the front fenders and Tim primed them up today. I installedthe doors to make sure they fit and also to glus the brace back to the center of the panel. These doors were warped to heck from the media blasting place. ButI know how to fix that. I started on the passengers door after I rebuilt the hinges. Here are the pics.....</p><p> </p><p>Right cowl side panel and rocker are ready to prime :</p><p><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v318/CUSHE63/1951%20WILLIES%20PROJECT/DSC03696.jpg" alt="image"><br><br>Left rocker with duraglass applied:<br><br><img height="600" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v318/CUSHE63/1951%20WILLIES%20PROJECT/DSC03668.jpg" width="800" alt="image"><br><br>Final coat on the right fender:<br><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v318/CUSHE63/1951%20WILLIES%20PROJECT/DSC03697.jpg" alt="image"><br><br><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v318/CUSHE63/1951%20WILLIES%20PROJECT/DSC03698.jpg" alt="image"><br><br><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v318/CUSHE63/1951%20WILLIES%20PROJECT/DSC03699.jpg" alt="image"><br><br><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v318/CUSHE63/1951%20WILLIES%20PROJECT/DSC03700.jpg" alt="image"><br><br>Here is the door with the first coat of filler:<br><br><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v318/CUSHE63/1951%20WILLIES%20PROJECT/DSC03726.jpg" alt="image"><br><br><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v318/CUSHE63/1951%20WILLIES%20PROJECT/DSC03729.jpg" alt="image"><br><br>Left side cowl panel in final filler, rocker with 1st coat applied and door installed after hinge rebuild:<br><br><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v318/CUSHE63/1951%20WILLIES%20PROJECT/DSC03727.jpg" alt="image"><br><br>This door will need trimmed at the lower rear corner and metal welded on the upper rear edge to fit the opening better.
