I'll give you the Rays, Joe. But not the Phillies. I follow NL baseball very closely all year, every year. And the Mets collapsing monumentally for severalyears does not equate to Philadelphia being all that good. They barely squeaked in this year. But hey, they made it to the World Series and the other teamsdidn't. So good for them.

I can only root for Boston now. I lived in New England for a decade and I've always liked them. My favorite AL team.

yup, Marks contest to do as he pleases...I'm out, but I still think it's cool that he's GIVING away a nice redline...

What's with these Boston fans leaving after the 7th tonight???? Now it's tied 7-7...good stuff, even though I don't really like baseball...I likecontests better...with redlines...

Great 8-7 comeback win by the Red Sox, keep it going back in Tampa!

Good gawd...................... Please let it end. WHOOO HOOO!!!! Lawn darts on ESPN-2, six more people in the stands than at Fenway.......

Go Boston!!!

I loved the comeback and I hope they win it all since they hammered the Angels!!!

What's with these Boston fans leaving after the 7th tonight???? Very unlike the Fenway Faithful.

I have to admit I gave up on the season, and headed into my office head hung low to get a jump on tomorrows paper work. I have a small TV in the office that Ididn't even bother to turn on. I heard cheering from the TV downstairs. I made it downstairs just in time to see Poppi break out of his miserable slump(who says he doesn't miss Manny batting behind him). I spent the rest of the game gnawing off the ends of my fingers.

They still have a huge hill to climb, but I'm happy to have been spared watching Tampa celebrate in Fenway.

I'll give you the Rays, Joe. But that first monumental one should be worth at least two. Gotta feel for the Met fan...

~Joe

You're asking for sympathy from a CUB fan? For a MET fan? How about Boston coming back by winning two and forcing a seventh game! Now THIS is a playoff series!

Those of us that picked Boston in RLMarx' contest may still be alive after all, go Red Sox in game 7.........

Aww common Gregg, Dave's just out to have a little fun rattling a cage or two...he's harmless...

How about them Rays. Those kids seem to be destined. Though they were tough all season, even taking it to the Angels who I thought were the cream of the cropin MLB, I didn't' expect to see them where they are. Don't get me wrong, I'm not surprised. I just didn't expect it. I predicted Angels- Cubs...

Again in my case, probably the most proven adage in baseball came true; "The more you think you know, the less you really know"...lol

Hats off to you Ray fans...well done...so far...

~Joe
I gotta agree with Joe - the Rays! Most of the sports writers were saying yesterday that Phillie was the much superior club
and that the Rays had no chance. After watching the Red Sox lose the series I for one don't believe it - great hitting and
pitching and like the 04 Red Sox - destined! Am not bitter that they beat us - they a classy ball club! Go Rays you deserve it!

K-dog

Will the Phillies win it all tonight?

Will Dave be watching?...

~Joe
It's over?????? Not on your life baby, WWE is on!!!!!

It's over??????
You're in luck my man! The game was rain delayed tied 2-2 in the middle of the 6th. Depending on the weather in Philly, you can catch thelast 3 1/2 innings either tomorrow or Wednesday

~Joe
The weather?? Do they make the bases out of doilies?? Just play the game like a man, even CFL guys play in "weather"...... Jeeeezzzeee.........

Bud Selig was just reaching out to accommodate you Dave, working around your WWE conflict.

That ole' Bud...he's a nice guy

~Joe
