Here are the pics of the work on the front hood. I sanded it with 400 grit paper on a 6" rubber block, you can see the dark guide coat I used first. ThenI went over it with 400 on a DA sander. Then I applied guide coat again and then block sanded it again with 400 grit paper. I then went around the edges with apiece of 400 in my rubber gloved hand to smooth out the edges. It did have damage before it went there, but they really messed it up. I almost looked foranother hood. But you can see the results above ^^^^^^^. Enjoy, Steve

Here are the latest pics of the hood. I sanded it with 1500 grit on a DA sander. Then buffed it and polished it to a high gloss. If you all liked those pics, you will love these. Jon and I sanded the inside of the bug with 400 and scratch pads till I was happy with the results. Then wewrapped it up with tape and paper.
