I was a little busy the last couple days, but I did get the muffler blasted, sadned and painted black. Today I repaired and modified the lower cooling tins. Iam going to use them as air scoops to allow more air to travel across the motor while I am driving. Then the got shot with por-15 gloss black.<br><br>This is what the muffler looked like when I got it. The paint was really crappy and chipped off way too easy. So I covered the holes with duct tape andbeadblasted it then sanded it with 180 grit and painted it with gloss black heat paint.<br><br><img height="600" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v318/CUSHE63/59%20Beetle%203/DSC03386.jpg" width="800" alt="image"><br><p><br><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v318/CUSHE63/59%20Beetle%203/DSC03410.jpg" alt="image"><br><br><img height="600" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v318/CUSHE63/59%20Beetle%203/DSC03414.jpg" width="800" alt="image"><br><br>Here is the intake painted up and ready to install:<br><br><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v318/CUSHE63/59%20Beetle%203/DSC03412.jpg" alt="image"><br><br>Here are the lower tins ready for welding.<br><br><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v318/CUSHE63/59%20Beetle%203/DSC03411.jpg" alt="image"><br><br><img height="600" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v318/CUSHE63/59%20Beetle%203/DSC03416.jpg" width="800" alt="image"><br><br><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v318/CUSHE63/59%20Beetle%203/DSC03417.jpg" alt="image"><br><br>Here's the parts from early this week all dry and ready to install:<br><br><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v318/CUSHE63/59%20Beetle%203/DSC03409.jpg" alt="image"><br><br>Enjoy, Steve<br><br></p>

Hey Steve,<br><br>Are you aware that all the photos in this thread are currently replaced with a message from photobucket that you've exceeded your bandwith?<br><br>Bob Jordan
