LOL, you all don't worry, my feelings are not hurt, Dave just has a crush on me thats why he picks on me, he's the boy in the playground who used topull my pigtails. <img src="http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/wink.gif"><br><br><br><br><br>It was cool meeting Steven, he is very big, and doesn't really smile, LOL, his energy is intense. He said I could sing in his band. <img src="http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif"><br><br><br><br>Thanks Kitty, yes the song arrangement changed, as well as the key, thats why my voice sounded different, and even two days before, I re-wrote the lyrics, sothis was a fun challenge.<br><br>All my You Tube videos are rough drafts, as I have always said all along, having someone help arrange and produce them really helps the rough ideas becomesongs. Well Rach, you know me. I'm gonna be picky about the quality of the sound system and even the accompaniment because you have a <span style="text-decoration:underline">very</span> strong voice that deserves to be demonstrated as it truly is, without any feedback or overpowering of a microphone thatcan't handle the power of your voice.<br><br>Dave, the "drug-addled" bit was as a reference. In other words, she's focusing on her family instead of doing what so many others would by andthat's abandon them for an even remote opportunity at fame. The majority of those who do are the ones who end up being asked "are you dating?"along places like Hollywood Boulevard and hooked on drugs to try and kill the pain they feel for life not being up to what they expected.<br><br>I've seen it on a personal level. A few friends left Austin for what they felt was the glitz and glamour of the LA music scene. Too much competition here.The last I knew, only one had returned home to Austin, looking about 30 years older than she really is, from all the drugs and living life in the gutter. Ofthe two others who remained in Cali, one committed suicide and no one has heard from or of the other for at least 10 years. She's probably either in prisonor dead.<br><br>In my opinion, Rachael (sheesh! I've been misspelling it for a long time!) has a better voice than a lot of singers. It's an extremely tough businessand I'm sure she's aware of that. A lot of people would drop everything for the offer she has to do the lounge singer act at that guy's chain ofcasinos, not giving a second thought about it. Rachael has more going for her than a great voice and that's her family and having wisdom of life experiencebeyond teenage years to help guide her.<br><br>Rock on, Rachael =)
